Why Hotspots

In order to get set up at a Hotspot location, you will need a PC laptop with wireless(Wi-Fi) connectivity. Otherwise, you shouldn't need any new hardware or software. See below for other requirements.

  • Service Set Identifier (SSID or network name) set to ANY default or carrier specific location name.
  • WEP security turned off

What you Can Do

  • Internet Explorer V5.0+ with 128-bit SSL
  • Netscape Navigator V6.0+ with 128-bit SSL
  • JavaScript enabled
  • Cookies enabled
  • Proxy settings turned off
  • Pop-up window feature turned on (required for session management window)
